Presented by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht FLOATATION THERAPY is a 45 ft sailing catamaran. FLOATATION THERAPY spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was constructed by recognized shipbuilder Lagoon in 2019. The well-planned yacht layout features 3 large cabins and easily accommodates a maximum of 6 guests.

FLOATATION THERAPY is presented primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and usually it where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The immersive cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. The cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. Multiple portholes add to the feeling of connection with the discovered environment.

Crew Information

Captain: Bill Holden

Bill was born and raised in Belgium. After high school, Bill started a degree in sports management until he took a summer off to do a dive master internship in Thailand. Soon after arriving Bill fell in love with the diving culture and being around the ocean and since then has never looked back! He went far beyond his divemaster internship and eventually became an instructor. He spent the next four years traveling and teaching diving around the beautiful islands of Asia. After a successful four years instructing countless students, Bill discovered a new passion of Sailing. He jumped right in and followed his passion to Spain where he spent 6 months training for his Yacht Master certificate. From there, Bill moved to Australia to further his sailing career. He spent the next two years captaining a 50 foot catamaran for the number one tourist company in Australia. Here he fell in love with taking out charter guests and being around people who are taking a break from their normal lives to have some fun! Ever since, Bill has been hooked on the yachting industry. Ashley was born and raised in Tampa, Florida where she discovered her love for the ocean and watersports at a young age through snorkeling, fishing and boating. She attended college at Florida State University where she acquired a degree in Family and Child Sciences. After a year working at a preschool, Ashley moved to Australia to further explore her love for the ocean. There she did her dive master internship and like Bill was hooked. She went on to get her instructors as well to continue her passion for teaching. To supplement her diving income, she also worked in a high-end resort as a server and bartender where she gained valuable hospitality skills and a love for the service industry. Ashley has always had a passion for putting on events and entertaining guests, at this resort she was able to help put on wedding receptions and make sure the guests had a special experience. Ashley loves going above and beyond to ensure guests always have an unforgettable time and especially combining her hospitality skills with her love of the ocean, which has led her to the chartering industry. After high school, Bill started a degree in sports management until he took a summer off to do a dive master internship in Thailand. Soon after arriving Bill fell in love with the diving culture and being around the ocean and since then has never looked back! He went far beyond his divemaster internship and eventually became an instructor. He spent the next four years traveling and teaching diving around the beautiful islands of Asia. After a successful four years instructing countless students, Bill discovered a new passion of Sailing. He jumped right in and followed his passion to Spain where he spent 6 months training for his Yacht Master certificate. From there, Bill moved to Australia to further his sailing career. He spent the next two years captaining a 50 foot catamaran for the number one tourist company in Australia. Here he fell in love with taking out charter guests and being around people who are taking a break from their normal lives to have some fun! Ever since, Bill has been hooked on the yachting industry.<br /> <br /> Ashley was born and raised in Tampa, Florida where she discovered her love for the ocean and watersports at a young age through snorkeling, fishing and boating. She attended college at Florida State University where she acquired a degree in Family and Child Sciences. After a year working at a preschool, Ashley moved to Australia to further explore her love for the ocean. There she did her dive master internship and like Bill was hooked. She went on to get her instructors as well to continue her passion for teaching. To supplement her diving income, she also worked in a high-end resort as a server and bartender where she gained valuable hospitality skills and a love for the service industry. Ashley has always had a passion for putting on events and entertaining guests, at this resort she was able to help put on wedding receptions and make sure the guests had a special experience. Captain Mike and Chef Sara were absolutely exceptional and we loved our time with them. From the very beginning, it was clear that they wanted to make sure that our trip met the desires of the whole group. On our pre-call, they asked great questions, were professional and had great communication and were incredibly responsive. Throughout the entire experience, they both were friendly, professional, kind, calm and just really, really good people. They listened to us and created an itinerary that was exactly what we were looking for and made sure that every experience was a positive one – from reserving moorings, reservations, finding great snorkel and dive spots, recommending great restaurants, connecting us with taxi drivers, etc. They absolutely went above and beyond in every situation. Chef Sara’s food is incredible and she made some of the best food we’ve eaten. She baked bread (sandwich bread AND the most amazing banana bread we’ve ever tasted), made homemade pizza crust, created a wonderful blueberry compote from scratch, pickled her own jalapenos and just made everything wonderful without cutting any corners. Her salmon dish and curry pork dish were two of our favorites and we seriously commented after every meal how delicious the food tasted. I also commented that the meal table always got very quiet once the food was served because we were all loving it so much. Most importantly, Mike and Sara are just good people. We loved being around them and enjoyed having them a part of our vacation. Growing up on the ocean inspired her to pursue a career in maritime. Captain Mike and Chef Sara were absolutely exceptional and we loved our time with them. From the very beginning, it was clear that they wanted to make sure that our trip met the desires of the whole group. On our pre-call, they asked great questions, were professional and had great communication and were incredibly responsive. Throughout the entire experience, they both were friendly, professional, kind, calm and just really, really good people. They listened to us and created an itinerary that was exactly what we were looking for and made sure that every experience was a positive one – from reserving moorings, reservations, finding great snorkel and dive spots, recommending great restaurants, connecting us with taxi drivers, etc. They absolutely went above and beyond in every situation. Chef Sara’s food is incredible and she made some of the best food we’ve eaten. She baked bread (sandwich bread AND the most amazing banana bread we’ve ever tasted), made homemade pizza crust, created a wonderful blueberry compote from scratch, pickled her own jalapenos and just made everything wonderful without cutting any corners. Her salmon dish and curry pork dish were two of our favorites and we seriously commented after every meal how delicious the food tasted. I also commented that the meal table always got very quiet once the food was served because we were all loving it so much. Most importantly, Mike and Sara are just good people. We loved being around them and enjoyed having them a part of our vacation. Beginning in Caneel Bay, snorkeling at Henley Bay (awesome), Trunk Bay - beautiful beach to bask in the sun (underwater snorkel trail interesting), Cruz Bay - off to our one dine out, Leinster Bay - hike up to Annaberg Sugar Mill (light hike, history, and butterflies among the Nokia trees), another beautiful restful visit to Caneel Bay among the sea turtles, then off to Salt Pond Bay - light hike through Salt Pond (a lesson in salt and ecology in itself) to Drunk Bay (a transition from simple beauty to splendid rock/ reef/fossil exploration) - with luscious mangroves, rolling green hills - a dramatic sea crashing among the rocks. Captain Mike and Chef Sara were absolutely exceptional and we loved our time with them. From the very beginning, it was clear that they wanted to make sure that our trip met the desires of the whole group. On our pre-call, they asked great questions, were professional and had great communication and were incredibly responsive. Throughout the entire experience, they both were friendly, professional, kind, calm and just really, really good people. They listened to us and created an itinerary that was exactly what we were looking for and made sure that every experience was a positive one – from reserving moorings, reservations, finding great snorkel and dive spots, recommending great restaurants, connecting us with taxi drivers, etc. They absolutely went above and beyond in every situation. Chef Sara’s food is incredible and she made some of the best food we’ve eaten. She baked bread (sandwich bread AND the most amazing banana bread we’ve ever tasted), made homemade pizza crust, created a wonderful blueberry compote from scratch, pickled her own jalapenos and just made everything wonderful without cutting any corners. Her salmon dish and curry pork dish were two of our favorites and we seriously commented after every meal how delicious the food tasted. I also commented that the meal table always got very quiet once the food was served because we were all loving it so much. Most importantly, Mike and Sara are just good people. We loved being around them and enjoyed having them a part of our vacation. Meet the Crew: Captain Michael & Chef Sara

Michael and Sara first met on a 160’ sailing yacht in New York City working as crew. Michael was the engineer and Sara was hired on as a deckhand. They hit it off instantly developing a relationship both professionally and romantically. The couple worked for 2 years together sailing and exploring New York and Newport in the summer, the Caribbean, and Bermuda in the winter. After being together for 3 years now they want to share their passion for the ocean and working on sailboats to provide guests with the best experience.

Michael was born in Northwestern Pennsylvania by Lake Erie. Being around lakes and fresh water rivers fishing and boating was a big part of growing up. After attending university at Edinboro PA and getting an accounting degree his career plans took a turn when he took an interest in Maritime in San Francisco in 2015. The rest is history and his love of the ocean, care and safety of vessels, and providing the best experience to guests and friends around him to the top standards has become his main goal. Working as chief engineer on a 160’ schooner his management and engineering skills have developed to a high standard for preventative maintenance and top care of a vessels mechanical, electrical, and AV related systems. His competence on a vessel and sense of adventure will ensure you have a great experience when embarking on a new adventure.

Chef/First Mate Sara Hogan

Sara was born in Texas and lived her younger years in San Antonio. At 13 years old her parents decided to move onto their 41’morgan out island sailboat. She lived onboard invincible until she was 18. During those 5 years onboard, she traveled through the eastern and western Caribbean learning Spanish, surfing, sailing, and living a life on the ocean. Growing up on the ocean inspired her to pursue a career in maritime. She loves entertaining and sharing her knowledge of the water to ensure the most spectacular time for her guests and friends alike. Being the chef onboard it will be her pleasure for her to provide you the absolute best entrees and hors d’oeuvres. Sara with her sense of adventure, love for the water, and culinary skills she will ensure you to have the best experience on any vessel.

Offered by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht FLOATATION THERAPY is a 45 ft sailing catamaran. The most attractive features of FLOATATION THERAPY are her well-chosen interiors and alfresco dining areas. FLOATATION THERAPY spends the summer and winter season in US Virgin Islands. She was constructed by the ship builder Lagoon in 2019. The expansive yacht layout features 3 large cabins and easily accommodates a maximum of 6 guests.

FLOATATION THERAPY is presented primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and that's where the guests spend most of their time. The tastefully decorated cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. Multiple portholes provide a connection with the natural world outside.

Captain Michael Plotner Qualifications -USCG 100ton Masters -AEC1 -AEC2 -Powerboat Level II -PADI Dive Instructor -STCW 95 -ENG1 Michael was born in Northwestern Pennsylvania by Lake Erie. Being around lakes and fresh water rivers fishing and boating was a big part of growing up. After attending university at Edinboro PA and getting an accounting degree his career plans took a turn when he took an interest in Maritime in San Francisco in 2015. The rest is history and his love of the ocean, care and safety of vessels, and providing the best experience to guests and friends around him to the top standards has become his main goal. Working as chief engineer on a 160’ schooner his management and engineering skills have developed to a high standard for preventative maintenance and top care of a vessels mechanical, electrical, and AV related systems. His competence on a vessel and sense of adventure will ensure you have a great experience when embarking on a new adventure. Chef/First Mate Sara Hogan Qualifications -USCG 100ton Masters -RYA Day Skipper License -RYA Power Boat Level II -PADI Dive Master -STCW 95 -ENG1 Sara was born in Texas and lived her younger years in San Antonio. At 13 years old her parents decided to move onto their 41’morgan out island sailboat. She lived onboard invincible until she was 18. During those 5 years onboard, she traveled through the eastern and western Caribbean learning Spanish, surfing, sailing, and living a life on the ocean. Growing up on the ocean inspired her to pursue a career in maritime. She loves entertaining and sharing her knowledge of the water to ensure the most spectacular time for her guests and friends alike. Being the chef onboard it will be her pleasure for her to provide you the absolute best entrees and hors d’oeuvres. Sara with her sense of adventure, love for the water, and culinary skills she will ensure you to have the best experience on any vessel. Michael and Sara first met on a 160’ sailing yacht in New York City working as crew. Michael was the engineer and Sara was hired on as a deckhand. They hit it off instantly developing a relationship both professionally and romantically. The couple worked for 2 years together sailing and exploring New York and Newport in the summer, the Caribbean, and Bermuda in the winter. After being together for 3 years now they want to share their passion for the ocean and working on sailboats to provide guests with the best experience. <b>Crew fully vaccinated<b/>

How to get started

1. Schedule Online

Schedule your session online at your preferred time. If this is your first time floating, our introductory pack is a great option to get started!

Enjoy 60 minutes of a completely customizable float experience. You will be in control, with nothing to fear. 

2. Arrival & Waiver 

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. A waiver is required for all services, the waiver can be found in your confirmation email or in your account on the 'Me' tab.

5. Post Float

You will have 10-15 minutes for your post float shower. If you need additional time to ready yourself for the world again, there is a "get ready" table with a hair dryer, mirror, etc.

3. Orientation

Upon arrival, if it is your first time at Release Float Spa, you will receive a tour of the facility followed by a float orientation.

This is a great opportunity for any questions you may have prior to your float.

6. Share your experience

You will have the opportunity to share how you felt before, during, and after your float. Tell us how your floating experience helped you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
